Mauritania's TV and radio stations are state-owned.
Press: Newspapers are in French and Arabic. The dailies are Châab and Nouakchott-Info. The main weeklies include Le Calame, L'Eveil-Hebdo and Rajoul Echarée.
TV: Mauritanian TV broadcasts programmes in Arabic, French and other local languages.
Radio: Radio Mauritania.
