Located in the Great Lakes Region, Wisconsin is bordered to the east by Lake Michigan and to the north by Michigan and separated from Canada in the north by Lake Superior. This is a beautiful State, with over 15,000 lakes and thousands of miles of rivers and streams.

Its varied countryside also includes sandstone cliffs, sandy beaches, northern forests and rich, southern farmland. Wisconsin is famed for its hospitality and friendly atmosphere and is known as the beer capital of the nation. Milwaukee, on the southeast shores of Lake Michigan, is the State's largest city.
